How the estimate works
The price
The manufacturer's MSRP and destination charge, from their own sites, or the price your dealer quoted. Tesla and Rivian order fees are on their own line.
The tax
California uses CDTFA’s October 1, 2026 ZIP rates and flags ZIPs that cross tax areas. Other states use their stated dealer, residence or registration location rules; missing local rates must be confirmed.
The fees
State purchase rules include taxes, registration and document fees within the stated scope. Later bills and conditional benefits stay separate from the purchase total. No manufacturer offers are selected on the website.
